Welcome to the new blog site for Redpath Glass - well Georgia Redpath really, because Redpath Glass is simply my business name.

About this Blog

Hello! My name's Georgia Redpath - and I run my own designer-craft business, Redpath Glass (take a look at www.redpathglass.co.uk). I specialise in kiln casting, and use lots of different modelling, moulding and casting techniques to bring pattern, texture and form to my glass pieces.

Many of these techniques were originally adapted from other crafts - either by me, or by older and wiser kiln casters. However, I believe the road goes both ways: so if you cast other materials (metal, paper, acrylic etc), work with print, use clay /polymer clay or create beautiful cakes, there may just be something here for you!
